Fall Fashion is All About the 1970s

So as you know, I work for a magazine here in the Bay Area called Marin MagazineOur September issue just hit mailboxes this last weekend and I posted the whole issue online as of 9 a.m. this morning. I have to say that this issue is one of my favorites. The two fashion issues this year (March and September) have been my two favorite issues ever while I’ve worked at Marin Magazine.

Styled by Fashion Editor (and Art Director) Veronica Sooley, makeup and hair by Elizabeth Chang and shot by Claudia Goetzelmann, this 14-page spread is not one to miss. The ’70s are back! Here’s a sneak peek at the spread. To see all the looks, click here.

Working at Marin Magazine has its perks. You’re surrounded by intelligent, hard working people who are just as creative out of office as they are in. Since being with this publication for almost a year, I have made good friends with almost everyone. Shortly after starting work, I found out that our Art Director and Fashion Editor Veronica Sooley is a blogger, as well. For more than a year, she has been blogging the chronicles of her tuxedo cat, Tux. Her blog is appropriately titled Tux the Dapper Gent.

Yesterday I asked Veronica if she would want to participate as a guest blogger for Much Ado. Since I am getting married in the fall and chronicling my experiences in the planning process, I figured Veronica would be a great asset to help blog about things brides should know. She has already helped me by sending me a list of things I need to bring to wedding dress shopping next weekend.

I am really looking forward to having Veronica write some posts and to see what tips and tricks she has for every one. Don’t forget to check out her blog about Tux, too!
